HOW THE AWARDS WORK
The 2019 Headlinemoney Awards celebrate the best in journalism, editorial excellence and top-flight communications from around the world of financial services media.
The awards comprise categories for individual financial journalists, as well as media outlets covering different aspects of the financial market place.
Several awards are also presented to professionals working in financial services PR and communications. These are voted for by the financial journalism community making them especially sought-after by recipients.
All category winners are decided by the financial journalist community in a rigorous, two-stage nominations and submissions process. You can see a full list of this year’s judges here
In 2019, 109 different financial journalists were shortlisted, along with 10 money titles, five blogs, 10 individual PRs, 13 in-house press teams, five PR agencies, five media experts. The results were decided by 114 judges, the vast majority being leading financial journalists and editors, supported by experienced PR and communications practitioners.
Headlinemoney’s overall Journalist of the Year prize is presented to the individual whose work, in the opinion of the judges, surpassed that of all of his/her peers during the calendar year 2018.
