I am a freelance business and finance journalist. Prior to that, I was with the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday. I spent 17 years at the Daily and Sunday Express, including 11 years as business and finance editor.
I have been writing about business and personal finance since 1998, starting with insurance. I wrote extensively about retail and institutional pensions, as well as investment, before moving to Express Newspapers in 2007 to write business news and features. Aside from banking, financial services, economics and personal finance and investment, I have written on topics ranging from retail to media to corporate insolvencies.
